Arbiter Sports is our primary way of assigning officials in an efficient manner. It’s software used by referee entities across the country including by the NCAA. Below are some instructions on frequently asked questions on the system.
Becoming ready to be assigned: Follow the instructions in the email from the Arbiter system. After completing the instructions, click ‘ready to be assigned’ on the home page of the Arbiter website.
Profile: It’s VERY important that you include the following info CORRECTLY in your profile: name, address, email address, and phone number.
Accepting/Declining Games: If you are not blocked for a certain date, it is expected that you will accept the games. If you know you can’t work on a day, then block that day (see instructions below). When you are assigned a game, you will have 72-hours to accept/decline. Please accept in an efficient manner and within 24-hours if at all possible.
Blocks: To block dates so that you cannot be assigned, do the following:
1) Go to the ‘Blocks’ tab at the top of the screen
2) Click what part of the day you want to block in the top left of the ‘blocks’ screen. Choose ‘block all day’ if you cannot work at all that day’
3) Enter the date you want your block to begin & the date you want it to end then click the days below that correspond.
- E.g. if you want to block Thursdays in March you would click the ‘T’ for Thursday and put March 6 for Start and March 27 for End
4) Click ‘Apply’
Schedule/Game Information:
- Click the ‘Schedule’ tab to view your comprehensive schedule of where you’re working, how much you’ll be paid, etc.
- To the left of the games is a game number. Click the link to the game number to see more detailed information for that game. You should be able to see who you’re working with, their phone number, and any notes for the game.
